Watendlath
Where: Take the B5289 down the east side of Derwentwater from Keswick to Borrowdale, and halfway down the lake, follow the minor road to the left, signposted to Ashness Bridge and Watendlath. The single track road climbs gently for 2 ½ miles to the small hamlet of Watendlath. Parking in lay bys on the way up is free, but at Watendlath is a National Trust car park, free to members, £4 per day to others.
