Landscape Workshop details
We take a maximum of 10 guests at any one time - up to 8 if singles - due
to room limitations.
All levels are catered for, from beginner through to experienced
photographer. John works with people on a one to one basis to ensure they
get the correct guidance.
We cannot outline the locations since there are over 60 locations that we
go to throughout the lake district. The choice is dependent on the season,
weather, fitness of our guests, number of regulars who may have been to a
location in the past and also the type of photos people on the workshop
want to take, e.g. vista, lakes, waterfalls, flowers etc.
The majority of guests come for a week commencing on a Saturday afternoon
and leave on the following Saturday morning.
Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday are
available for your own activities, most of our guests go out with other
guests to more photographic locations recommended by ourselves, or walks,
visits to local places of interests, shopping etc.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday you will leave here at 9.45, go to a location
with John for a full day and return home about 6pm for dinner at 7pm.
John works with people before going out, in the field and nightly where
all images are viewed with constructive feedback which provides a major
part of the learning experience.
On the limited walking workshops, people arrive on day 1 for tea and get
an introduction after dinner. Then they are out for 4 days with John to a
variety of locations, but no more than one mile in any location. Each
evening is spent reviewing the images taken that day. |
