We are very keen to make landscape photography available to a wider audience and so are exceptionally pleased to offer Limited Walking Workshops, enabling those who are less mobile to experience the joy of capturing the Lake District National Park at its best.
Popular with a broad spectrum of guests, these practical workshops enable participants to get the maximum camera time in each location...The ethos of this experience is very much 'less walking, more photography'.
The workshop consists of 3 fully escorted excursions, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with the guests taking the opportunity on Tuesday and Thursday to go out in groups and practise the techniques that they have learnt the previous day.
These workshops do, as they say, have limited walking, so participants should be comfortable covering distances of up to one and a half miles per day across fairly level ground.
They are run over six nights with three escorted days and having limited walking by no means limits the breathtaking imagery that guests can capture. We cover locations as diverse as the Solway Coast, Rydal Water, nearby formal gardens and even some high level tarns that can be accessed by car and the advantage that sets these workshops apart is that participants are in one location for longer and can really immerse themselves in the landscape, capturing the intimate, the detail, as well as the panoramic view.
The price is £795 for six nights or £600 for four nights including accommodation, tuition, food and excursions on Monday, Wednesday & Friday (weather dependant) - only alcoholic drinks are excluded.
Please remember that from 2017, there not be any dinner or evening photo session provided on the Thursday evening.
